Foundations Resource Center is not a private school. It is an educational resource center, designed and intended to allow parents to choose and select the best educational options for their children. At Foundations, parents are fully in charge of and in control of their children’s education, and parents remain fully responsible for their children while they are attending classes at Foundations. Consequently, Foundations has a mandatory attendance requirement for parents or another adult designated by a parent as being responsible for their children. While students are in class at the Foundations Resource Center either a parent, or an adult (over 18) specifically designated as being responsible for the child or children in the class, must be in the building or immediately surrounding area. Parents may designate students 16 years of age or older as being self responsible. Students designated self responsible by their parent(s) are not required to have a designated adult in attendance, but do need to sign in and out of the Resource Center when attending classes.
