Jill Bywaters

Apologetics, Debate

Jill Bywaters has three adult children and is a former homeschool mom and Classical Conversations tutor. For the past 7 years, she has worked at Grace Christian School, teaching in the areas of grammar, literature, Bible, and art. Jill is passionate about apologetics, and she was thrilled to participate in the CrossExamined Instructor Academy in 2024. She is excited to pass along all that she has learned in order to prepare the next generation to defend their faith.

Bethany Lough

Music

Bethany Lough is the owner and instructor at Musical Journeys. She holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Bridgewater College. She taught music in the public school setting for 4 years. At a young age, she started taking music lessons and continued with music throughout her career. For her, she finds the importance of inclusion in music to allow for all people to get to enjoy music the way she did and does. Music is a universal language that she wants everyone to have the opportunity to experience.

Caleb Maas

Photography

Caleb Maas wears several hats, among which are photographer, marketing manager, and events staff. He is currently working at Valley Pike, balancing all of those hats, while enjoying newly-wed life. He graduated from Liberty in 2024 with a degree in Event Planning and minor in Video Production. Photography has allowed him to have fun with creativity and technology all rolled into one, and he is excited to pass along what he has learned about the craft to others.

Kristin Miller

Science, English

Kristin Miller is a pastor’s wife with 4 children that she has been homeschooling since 2017.  She has taught in small and large group settings in university, church, and co-op settings since 2005. Kristin has a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies and Master’s Pastoral Counseling. She has loved science since she was a child and is excited to bring this passion to your children, too! She has taken years of Latin and Greek courses in High School and college, and she is excited to help students understand the English language in a new and deeper way!

Gina Moore

English, Logic, Math

Gina Moore is a veteran homeschool mom. After homeschooling for 20 years, she and her husband, John, graduated their fourth and youngest child in 2024. She has taught a variety of classes in three local homeschool cooperatives, and she has also served in leadership in the homeschool community. Gina is grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve homeschool families at Foundations Resource Center. In addition to her homeschool teaching experience, she possesses a bachelor’s degree in education from Virginia Tech, a master’s degree in education from James Madison University, and experience teaching in public school. She enjoys teaching math, writing, and literature, and she is an accredited instructor with the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW).

Dana Neff

Fitness

Dana Neff is the owner of Heart and Soul Fitness in Weyers Cave. She is married to Jonathan, and they have seven children and two grandchildren. They have six adult children, and they are currently homeschooling their youngest son. Dana has an associate’s degree in Applied Exercise Science, and she instructs in Pilates, Holy Yoga, and Cardio Dance at the studio. She enjoys working with children. She was previously the Children’s Ministry Director at a local church, and she currently serves in youth ministry. She looks forward to meeting the families at Foundations Resource Center and instructing the middle school and high school fitness classes.
