Meet the APEX Speakers

Brett Harris

Brett Harris is the bestselling co-author of Do Hard Things and co-founder of The Young Writer’s Workshop and The Author Conservatory, which have trained thousands of writers since 2017. For the past 17 years he has served as a personal mentor and coach for many of the world’s top young writers and authors and his mission is to raise up the next C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien by 2050.

Brett considers strong business skills to be the missing ingredient for many writers – and is passionate about how entrepreneurship can make anyone more resilient, resourceful, and successful in life. Starting his own business has given him the freedom, flexibility, and financial provision necessary to serve as a full-time caregiver for his wife, while also providing life-giving jobs for the incredible people on his team.

Brett and his wife, Ana, are passionate about building profitable businesses that further God’s Kingdom and then giving generously to important causes – funding everything from medical expenses for needy families to Bible translation for people groups who have never read the Bible in their heart language.
