High school
can be
intimidating.

High school should prepare students for the real world.

As your student transitions from childhood to young adulthood, you may be wondering how best to support and engage them in this new season.

Make these years the
best ones yet!

In Equip, your student steps into a Christ-centered environment where they can learn to take responsibility and ownership of their education, be part of a team of students, where they must wrestle with ideas like values, purpose, and direction, and where a coaching approach helps them learn to solve their own problems.

Meet Our Coaches

Victoria Schurter

Victoria Schurter is the Director of Content and Coaching for Unbound. An Unbound graduate, Victoria has served in a variety of roles including student leadership, coaching, and in the Business and Leadership program. She is passionate about equipping young adults to recognize their potential, to know God, and make Him known in daily life.

When she’s not working on an Unbound project, you can find her scribbling on a novel, playing a favorite instrument, riding horses, watching a sunset, or dreaming up some new adventure that absolutely includes the Pacific coastline. One of the best parts of her world is walking alongside her fellow Unbound students as they make an eternal impact in their generation.

Hannah Jacks

Hannah Jacks is a Research Specialist, Student Life Advisor, and Declare Coach for Unbound. As an Unbound graduate, she has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of leadership roles with the Student Life, including the 2020 and 2021 National Student Cabinet. Now, she uses these skills throughout the different areas of her life to serve and glorify the Lord.

When she is not working on a project or communicating with a student, you can often find Hannah spending time with her local community and family or traveling around the United States and having adventures.

Julia Gottfried

As an Ascend alumni, Julia has achieved her real estate sales license and spent the last year traveling the country on a disciple ship team ministering to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. As a joyful pilgrim on an exciting adventure, she loves to envision all the places that God’s grace and a dash of creativity & determination can take you. Julia is passionate about encouraging others to be compassionate and courageous with the gifts Christ has given them. Her hope is to cheer others on towards living life surrendered to Jesus in full.

In free time, you can always find her playing sports (basketball and volleyball are her favorites) making a joyful noise on the piano, faithfully seeking laughter, and fellowshipping with family and friends
