All Foundations teachers and instructors accept and agree to Foundations’ Faith Statement (see below) and, knowing that education never occurs in a “neutral” frame, they strive to teach their subjects from a Christian view of the world. While member families are not required to agree to Foundations’ faith statement, they review the statement and are expected to fully support Foundations’ efforts to embody its fundamental convictions throughout its programs.
The Foundations Resource Center affirms historic orthodox Christianity as expressed in the Apostolic and Nicene creeds. We believe the Scriptures are inspired, fully authoritative, and the only reliable guide for faith and practice.
Foundations adheres to traditional, historic positions on matters related to life, sexuality, gender, and marriage. We believe that all people are made in the image of God (the imago Dei) and that all of us live constantly in the presence of God (coram deo).
