FAQs:

Resource Centers are designed to be central locations where families and students can come to find in-person courses, hands-on, trades-focused training opportunities, and connections to exceptional instructors through varying levels of membership. At the Foundations Resource Center, all teachers and instructors are independent contractors, evaluated and approved by the Foundations Leadership Team. Families who are Foundations members are able to register for as many courses as needed for their specific situation. That could range from one course per semester to a comprehensive curriculum build out over several years.

Foundations classes are open to any students who are interested, but the classes and programs are designed and optimized for homeschooled students and families.

Yes. The Foundations Leadership Team believes that education can never be neutral. All education, of any kind, is taught from a particular worldview, whether that is acknowledged or not. Foundations is unapologetically Christian. Member families and students are not required to agree to a statement of faith or be Christian to be a member, but they do need to review Foundations statement of belief and acknowledge that they understand Foundations is a Christian organization and teaches from a Chrisitan worldview. All Foundations teachers and instructors are required to accept and agree to Foundations Faith Statement and agree to teach their subjects from a Christian Worldview.

Families can apply to join the Foundations Resource Center. Annual membership costs _____. Foundations members get access to veteran homeschool coaches who can help your family register to homeschool, define your needs and goals, select curriculum, and navigate special needs or challenges.

Foundation members can enroll in classes and programs offered through the Center. In the future members will have access to additional benefits at the center. Future plans include a library, multi-use and co-working space, and access to workshop and work out spaces.

The Foundations Leadership Team is always looking for teachers and instructors who are able to teach the subjects our members are looking for, and are always open to anyone who is interested in teaching subjects that they think Foundations members will be interested in.

Foundations Teachers and Instructors must apply to the Foundations Leadership Team to teach and to have their subject and course approved. Teachers and Instructors are independent contractors, and are not employees of Foundations.

Applications for the fall along with course registration will be opening soon!
