Do you want training for your student that puts service and discipleship at the center?

Join us at New Hope Community Church in Palatine, IL for The Thrive Event—a free, in-person training for rising and current high schoolers, recent grads, and parents. Over Friday evening and through Saturday, Jonathan Brush (President & CEO of Unbound) will equip you with a 3-step decision model, a guide to finding work you love, and two practical frameworks to identify personal and team strengths—all from a distinctly Christian perspective. If you want a values-aligned path beyond traditional education, either for now or in the future, this event is for you.

9:00 - 10:30am: The Deciding Forward Model-A 3-step guide to getting unstuck
10:30am - 12:00pm: How to Find Work You Love that Makes a Difference in the World
12:00- 1:30pm: Lunch Break
1:30 - 3:00pm: The Personal Triangle-A model for discovering your core strengths, intentionally accounting for your weaknesses, and growing in the direction of your God-given interests.
3:00 - 4:30pm: The Team Triangle-A model for identifying and testing your strengths, weaknesses, and interests in a team environment.
4:30 - 6:00pm: Closing session and Q&A

Jonathan Brush, President & CEO of Unbound

Appearing on stages and podcasts, and leading events around the country, Jonathan teaches young adults and their parents how to ask the right questions, take action, and understand key truths that will enable them to live well. Jonathan’s energetic speaking and teaching style engages and inspires, while his honesty, practical advice, and relentless focus on hope encourages, equips, and enables audiences. Jonathan brings almost 25 years of experience working with young adults and families in a variety of settings from education to business and from church work to outdoor adventures. He lives in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley, VA with his wife Kara and their eight children.
