Keynote Speakers
JONATHAN BRUSH is the President and CEO of Unbound, a homeschool graduate, and a homeschool dad of seven. He worked for nine years as a Director of Admissions for a private, liberal arts college, and then spent over ten years working in non-traditional higher education.
VICTORIA GRANT is the Executive Director of Learning for Unbound and has a deep and abiding love of all things creative. One of the best parts of her world is walking alongside other young adults as they make an eternal impact in their generation.

Jonathan loves Unbound and Unbound students and dreams every single day about new ways to connect them to each other. He gets to work with the world’s best team and the most amazing student body in the history of the world (which is just as awesome as it sounds), and field questions about Rule 4 violations (ask an Unbound student to explain).

MEGAN HIETT is the COO of Unbound. She is a 2014 Unbound graduate who fell in love with her college experience as she earned her BSBA. She enjoys being the ‘get it done’ force behind new ideas and loves interacting with students online and in person. When she’s not planning events, creating spreadsheets, or keeping the Unbound team on track, she can usually be found spending time with friends, mastering a new skill, or booking a flight for her next adventure.
TIM FISHER is the Controller and Director of Teams & Talent for Unbound. He not only crunches numbers but also ensures the team members have what they need to succeed.
He is pursuing a degree in accounting through Thomas Edison State University and jumps at nearly every chance to travel he gets.
When he’s not studying about vision and leadership, Tim enjoys creating adventures with friends, running, biking, and reading. His life mantra is “Live life with an open hand.” He lives in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Teen Track Speakers
KAITLYN BRUSH lives in an old farmhouse beside a river, surrounded by cow fields and rolling Virginia mountains. She's a recent Unbound alumni and has served on various student leadership teams for the past four years. She now works part-time as an Academic Specialist for Unbound and part-time as the Office Manager for a small construction company. When she's not working, you might find her sitting around a campfire, canoeing on the river, hiking, traveling, or hanging out with friends and family.
Kaitlyn is passionate about good stories, strong community, and discovering beauty in all its forms. One of her goals is to be a lifelong learner, and she loves sharing what she has learned with those a few years behind her.
TRENT EMMACK is an Admissions Counselor for Unbound. He enrolled in Unbound in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Business Degree in Marketing Analytics. Trent served on the 2020 and 2021 Unbound National Student Cabinets, as well as the 2021 Community Development Committee.
In his free time Trent can usually be found lifting weights, watching football (Go Chiefs!), playing the latest RPG, or catching up on TV shows everyone else watched a decade ago. He’s down to do just about anything as long as it involves the right people, which usually means going on crazy adventures with fellow Unbound students and alumni. His love of anything pyrotechnic has also garnered quite the reputation. . .
HANNAH SCHWINDLE currently works for Unbound as the Director of Declare Coaching and Student Leadership, and as an Academic Specialist for the Ascend program, which means she gets to practically use her education everyday in doing what she loves. Hannah is currently putting roots down in the beautiful hills of Virginia, but is a frequent traveler to many states. As someone always ready for an adventure, you can find her exploring new coffee shops, riding motorcycles down the Blue Ridge Parkway, in the window seat of an airplane, discovering new parks and backroads, and finding moments to spend with friends and family members. Community and serving the Lord are at the heart of everything she does.
Hannah is passionate about connecting with people and walking alongside them in whatever season of life the Lord has brought them to. She is currently finishing a Masters degree in Pastoral Counseling and is becoming better equipped to listen and guide students through the rollercoaster of life and help train them for pursuing the abilities they have and want to learn.
TIM FISHER is the Controller and Director of Teams & Talent at Unbound with a professional interest in the intersection of company vision, team culture, and financial operations.
While working on a Bachelor of Accounting degree through Unbound and Thomas Edison State University, Tim used the flexibility of online education to not only study but also work, travel, and build community.
Tim finds extraordinary ways to do ordinary things and lives his life with an open hand. He believes each day contains adventures that are best lived out with joy fueled by deep gratitude and hope. His life mission is to receive God’s Love, be transformed by God’s Love, and pour God’s Love into the people around him. When he isn’t connecting his company’s vision to its numbers, he’s outside running, cycling, or traveling, always in pursuit of another adventure, never sure of who he’ll meet next.
With a firm belief in the power of positive thinking, Tim is bent on blowing up the stereotype of the boring accountant. He loves helping others find their why and overcome challenges so they, in turn, can flourish. Tim lives in northern Indiana, enjoys quiet time with French-pressed coffee (black, of course), and is building a brand-new community. To connect with Tim, check out his profile on LinkedIn.
OLIVIA JACKS is a homeschool graduate, the oldest of eight, a logistics-lover, and the one occasionally dubbed a group’s “voice of reason” – all facts which shape her current role as the Operations Coordinator for Unbound. With experience co-planning over ten student conferences, she attempts to approach situations with efficiency and clarity, whether booking flights, communicating event details, or troubleshooting last-minute mishaps. She translates these same characteristics into her speaking style with the goal of presenting information in an easy-to-understand fashion while providing clear action steps for her listeners. In her free time, Olivia is most often found reading classic literature or spending time with friends and family in the mountains of Virginia.
CALEB BRUSH is a proud resident of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. He enjoys projects in the shop, playing complicated strategy games with his family, reading, backpacking, and other outdoor activities.
CALEB JACKS lives in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. A small business owner and networker, he currently raises fully AKC registered Labrador Retrievers as therapy dogs and family companions. He loves partnering with local businesses and working together with all those he meets. He is a soccer coach for a homeschool league in his area, and, in his free time, he enjoys being outside doing just about anything, including traveling, hiking, playing sports, and riding on his motorcycle.
Last year he completed his Associates degree in business and is currently working to finish his Bachelors by the end of this year. He is looking forward to exciting challenges as he finishes his degree and steps into future opportunities!
