APEX is a student-led national conference that welcomes, enriches, and connects new and returning Unbound students. Unbound is known for its unique culture and lasting community, and APEX is the main event connecting this incredible group of people. It serves as an orientation for Ascend students, but on a deeper level, it cultivates an attitude of learning, purposeful living, and creativity for all attendees.
APEX is for everyone who seeks to live differently from the rest of the world and be a part of something real. Even if someone has no previous experience with this community, he or she is entirely welcome to join the event!
At this year’s APEX, everything is centered around change and how attendees can discover why change is necessary for further growth in every facet of their lives. As Christians, we are called to change and turn away from the world’s way of doing things so that we can pursue Christlikeness, but this can only happen through accepting our own responsibilities and understanding our limitations. APEX 2025 matters because change is inevitable, and it is essential for those who wish to honor God fully to understand how to intentionally respond to change.

Dates - When is APEX happening?
APEX will be August 13-17, 2025 (Wednesday through Sunday).
Location - Where are we going?
APEX will be back at Timber Wolf Lake in Michigan! We are very excited to get back to this location, and we hope you are too!
Travel - How do we get there?
If you are an Ascend student, congratulations! Your travel is covered by your enrollment, and you’ll receive travel details from Olivia Jacks ([email protected]) over the summer.
If you are driving or flying to APEX yourself, we will send out the location, dates, and times as we get closer to the event.
Packing - What should we bring?
Packing list coming soon, but we are sure you already know the usuals!
Allergies - What can APEX accommodate?
Timber Wolf Lake can accommodate standard allergy needs and can usually work with more complicated ones as well. You will be able to list any allergies during registration.
