It's okay if you are currently struggling in this area. Ascend is very community focused and even if you don't have strong community now, being willing to show up and invest in your student community in Ascend will be essential for your success in the program.
In the first year of Ascend, students complete the Signature Leadership Course series as part of the core program curriculum. These courses are taught from a Christian perspective, so the concept and practice of biblical leadership will be one of the main focuses of your year.
