Join us at the Blue Ridge Library in Roanoke, VA for The Thrive Event—an in-person training for rising and current high schoolers, recent graduates, and parents. On Monday evening, Jonathan Brush will be discussing the difference between success and thriving and what that means in the context of the current education landscape. Jonathan will be presenting sessions covering topics such as:
- Building relationships
- Creating value
- Living resiliently
- Identifying personal strengths and interests
- De-stressing big decisions
All from a distinctly Christian perspective. If you want a values-aligned path beyond traditional education, either for now or in the future, this event is for you.

- 5:45-6:15pm: Group Challenge
- 6:15-7:00pm: Building Christian Community and Learning through Hands-On Experience in the Ascend Program

Meet Your Event Speaker
Jonathan Brush
JONATHAN is the President and CEO of Unbound, a homeschool graduate, and a homeschool dad of six. He worked for nine years as a Director of Admissions for a private, liberal arts college, and has since spent over twenty years working in non-traditional higher education.
Jonathan loves Unbound and Unbound students and dreams every single day about new ways to connect them to each other. He gets to work with the world’s best team and the most amazing student body in the history of the world (which is just as awesome as it sounds), and field questions about Rule 4 violations (ask an Unbound student to explain). Jonathan and his family make their home in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
