Join us at Moe’s Restaurant in Washington, MO for The Thrive Event—an in-person training for rising and current high schoolers, recent graduates, and parents. On Tuesday evening, David and Molly Rethemeyer will be discussing the difference between success and thriving and what that means in the context of the current education landscape. David and Molly will be presenting sessions covering topics such as:
All from a distinctly Christian perspective. If you want a values-aligned path beyond traditional education, either for now or in the future, this event is for you.
David is Unbound’s Marketing Manager, and co-host of The Be Unbound Podcast. He was a homeschool graduate by age 16, earned his BSBA through Unbound, and finished his MBA from Missouri S&T.
David is passionate about finding the root of the ideas that are common in modern culture, and brings a nuanced and practical perspective to Christian young adults who are looking for guidance in answering life’s big questions. His speaking style combines thoughtful critique and witty humor, with the end goal of always leaving audiences challenged and encouraged to live out God’s purpose for their lives.
Outside of working hours, you may find David outside on a long run, tinkering with his computer, smoking meat, or coming up with Words of Wisdom (ask an Unbound student to explain).
Molly has been part of Unbound in some way, shape, or form for over a decade, assisting in content creation, academic support, logistics, student life, and admissions. (She is also the future author of WaM – see Jonathan Brush for details).
She holds a BSBA and MBA and has centered her career around serving vulnerable populations and ending systemic trauma, becoming an executive of one of the largest pro-life organizations in America at age 24 before pivoting to help victims of child abuse and now working to open a residential program for survivors of sex trafficking.
Molly’s ideal ways of spending time include pretending to be a marine biologist, asking challenging questions, and explaining at length why her home state of California is the best.
