Join us at The Depot at Valley Pike in Weyers Cave, VA, for The Thrive Event—a free, in-person training for rising and current high schoolers, recent graduates, and parents. On Saturday morning, Jonathan Brush and Riley Maas will be discussing the difference between success and thriving and what that means in the context of the current education landscape. Jonathan and Riley will be presenting sessions covering topics such as:

  • Building relationships
  • Creating value
  • Living resiliently
  • Identifying personal strengths and interests
  • De-stressing big decisions

All from a distinctly Christian perspective. If you want a values-aligned path beyond traditional education, either for now or in the future, this event is for you.

JONATHAN BRUSH

Appearing on stages and podcasts, and leading events around the country, Unbound’s President and CEO, Jonathan Brush, teaches young adults and their parents how to ask the right questions, take action, and understand key truths that will enable them to live well. Jonathan’s energetic speaking and teaching style engages and inspires, while his honesty, practical advice, and relentless focus on hope encourages, equips, and enables audiences. Jonathan brings almost 25 years of experience working with young adults and families in a variety of settings from education to business and from church work to outdoor adventures. He lives in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley, VA with his wife Kara and their eight children.

RILEY MAAS

A long-time resident of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Riley combines her love of people and details as the accounting manager at Unbound while also directing her 8th year of high school theater. Her unique combination of skills was fostered at a young age through homeschooling, ultimately culminating in earning her bachelor’s degree at 19. With a passion for helping young adults to identify their unique gifts and challenges, Riley applies practical wisdom and experience to equip the next generation to live out their God-written stories.
